MoVeR is a research project started in CSCI 451 (Artificial Intelligence).
The actual hardware construction and some preliminary software development was completed as a final project for this course.
We entered into the project with a limited budget and attempted to use as much existing lab equipment as possible in the construction of the robot.
The result is a nearly autonomous robot consisting primarily of a RWI B12 mobile robot base, a Dec MicroVAX II computer, and two MTI CCD72S cameras.
